Reality vs. Potential

"And what is the dimension beyond life as illuminated by DMT? If we can trust our own perceptions, then it is a place in which thrives and ecology of souls whose stuff of being is more syntactical than material. It seems to be a nearby realm inhabit ayes by eternal elfin engel echoes made entirely of information and joyous self-expression. The afterlife is more Celtic fairyland than existential nonentity; at least that is the evidence of the DMT experience."

How to Take Mouthwatering Fruit & Veggie Pics (and promote healthy eating by sharing them!)

We all love drooling over food porn, but did you know that more than 65% of the food pictures we’re sharing online are of unhealthy foods?
And did you know that viewing especially intense and decadent food photos could have a profound effect on our appetite and satiation? Yep, and the most shared food images are often the most calorie, sugar and fat laden foods of the bunch and seeing this type of imagery can lead to poor food choices and overeating.
Bolthouse Farms has created the Food Porn Index to track the ratio of healthy vs. unhealthy food on the internet and they’re trying to fix the imbalance by encouraging us to share more beautiful healthy food pictures.
And with all of those fantastic straight-from-nature colors to work with, taking and sharing delicious healthy food is a breeze!
With that in mind, here are some beginner tips to help you on your way to shooting more fantastic fresh fruit and veggie pictures:
Clear the clutter - Stick to a minimalistic set to let the textures and colors speak for themselves.
Make the produce the main event -  Don’t be afraid to get up close and personal with your produce! Images on Pinterest are more likely to be shared when the subject takes up most of the frame.
Stick to natural daylight - Avoid shooting pictures in the evenings (without proper lighting). Try shooting food out of direct sunlight and nearby a sunny window.
Use fresh, colorful ingredients - Fresh, quality produce looks great with very little work, and people are drawn to colorful images.
Add a splash of water -  Dip the tips of your fingers into water and gently flick them at your fresh produce, the tiny water droplets can add a nice “freshly washed” feel.
Now it’s time to get snacking, shooting, tagging, and sharing! Help promote healthy eating by tagging your healthy fruit and veggie pictures, and visit foodpornindex.com for the most updated figures of healthy vs. unhealthy food porn.
Tag your  #fruits, #vegetables, #kale salads and #berry smoothies, and help make the internet a healthier place!

So collapse.
Crumble.
This is not your destruction.

This is your birth."
